Pretty new things.

Every girl needs to feel pretty and every now again she is allowed to spend her pennies on some nice new things!
I have bought a few things this week to pick myself up from a bad weekend. I've felt really down in the dumps and havn't been making an effort to make myself pretty like a lady should so this was the perfect way to cheer myself up.
I bought a lovely pair of winter boots from Primark for like £14, some grey wooly knee highs for £8 and a baseball jacket for £17 (Should have been £38!) from River island , a cute blouse from Ark and then splurged a little on an orange blouse for a nasty £30 I have wanted for ages from Vera Moda aswell as some sparkly high wasted hot pants for another nasty £28. I thought that was all untill I walked into boots and the temptation to buy some new makeup was too strong.
I can confirm that retail therapy is the best form of therapy however its probably not the cheapest.

Lots of love

Getting up on the wrong side of the bed and painting adventures.

I don't know what is wrong with me lately. I wake up and I'm in a monstrous mood! A few years ago I would rise from my slumber at 7/8 a.m and feel fully energised but now, if left alone in bed whilst Ashley goes to work, I miss the whole morning and wake up at around noon. Well, for the past week I have had to be up and at em' for 8 a.m as I have been comissioned to paint murals at another childrens play centre where my partner in crime works. Anyway, so from the minute my feet touch the cold floor till around the time I arrive at the centre I am like a troll. One of those nasty trolls who live underneath bridges.

This week has definitley warned us that the Autum/Winter weather is upon us. I love it! It means wrapping up in cute winter coats, scarves and gloves, being able to pretend your a dragon when your breath hits the air and looks likes smoke, and sitting in bed with a cup of joe and fluffy slippers with a hot water bottle!

So, I have made a start on my painting and so far have painted lots of cute little dragons, princesses and other enchanting characters. Its really nice to painting again! I havn't painted since my art exam earlier this year due to lack of inspiration, motivation and if I'm honest I bit of depression. BUT the artist in me is back and I'm so glad and what great timing when I am starting my new blog.

Love and wintery kisses,
